I am married to Fred 54 years coming January. We have 5 beautiful daughters 10 Grandchildren 1 great grandson 7 yrs old in a couple of weeks.7 grandsons and 3 grandaughters.
we are ex HMS Forces family, and moved to NE Eng in 1971 from Wales when hubby retired from the army.
I have been a City of Sunderland Ward councillor for 4 years , but have retired now.
My favourite things are travelling and learning new skills, people think I am daft, but I believe it keeps your mind alive, especially as you get older.
I have many strings to my bow and am proud of myself to boot.

I really like light classics and gilbert and Sullivan operettas, tho i do not mind a wee bit of Punk if it is nice sounding.

Documentaries , any Space stuff, Archeology digs etc.
No time for Fly on the Wall stuff, ie Big brother, wife swap and such.
My fav is blue Planet and Life on Earth they make you think.
