what about me?
What about me? Hello to you who are reading "about me.
I like lots of stuff, but the most important to me are as follows: God, Mom, and the four legged family (Gate, Jack, and Magic.)
The study of Java (an object oriented programing language), is important to me also. I like writing code and other forms of authoring. I have yet to write my own program, but we have designed and built a couple of web sites with HTML, XHTML, CSS, and a bit of copy past action:)
I like writing code because it teaches me how to figure out problems. Alas, writing code is a lonely world, not the same as making jewelry for people.
Making jewelry is an interest of mine. Has been for over a year now. Others seem to enjoy it as much as I do. Mom and I found ourselves house-less in a small town called Bisbee; that's where it started.
A street fellow by the name of Crispy taught me how to make the first piece of jewelry; he called it a bobble. From there, tools were gifted to me, and it became a part of my life.
I studied his pieces and learned how to forge the wire from practice. God has put in me all of the gifts which I call mine, so to God goes the glory!
To make jewelry, I use a bit of wire ( 14 or 16 gage ) to forge a setting for some type of ornament (cabochons, broken glass, ceramic, turquoise, kyanite.....) Sometimes copper wire is used and sometimes silver. Those are the two most popular metals, but brass and gold are also an alternative. To make finished, nice looking jewelry, I have to have a relaxed, open mind, and this is where Tai Chi helps me.
Tai Chi is a part of my life for health and overall well being. The aim is to help others with the knowledge that is passed on to me. To keep it, it must be passed on.
This post would be quite full with all about me, so I will stop now, but these are my main interests.
