Retired attorney.... 32 years was as much as I could take. Now, I am smiling more, having more fun, hopefully having more sex (ah, yeah, that's a given), and love getting up each morning and not worrying about clients, judges, associates, partners or secretaries. Life is good.
Oh, yeah, I am sort of outspoken in case anyone has to ask. |

Sinatra, is king. Always was, always will be. No one could wrap a song like Old Blue Eyes.
Love Irish music, not the fast, loud, banjo playing kind, the soft Irish ballads like those of Tommy Flemming, Ronan Tynan, Mary Black, Kiran Goss.
Love the Big Band Sounds and the vocalists who made the 40's what they were, Vera Lynn is still my favorite.
Good jazz, hard to find, but it is out there. I try to make a trip to the Big Easy at least once a year for begnets at the Cafe Du Mond, Acme's oysters, Brennan's for Trout Nancy, and brunch at Commander's Palace..... |

I like good drama, good comedy, good romance. Unfortunately, most of the airwaves are full of junk and reality shows that are neither real nor showy.
I long for shows that hold the attention and that you don't want to end. I have fading hopes for Fringe and Burn Notice. If they don't get stupid, they may hold my attention. What? Sports? What's that? Oh, those programs that masquerade as entertainment while providing millions of dollars of income for people who wear numbers on their backs to advertise their IQ numbers! Nope, not interested, if I want sports, I will head for the golf course or pick up my tennis racquet. |
