while trawling the net, i was asstounded to see my letter , which was sent to soldier magazine in the U.K.featured on a web page, i did not know that the vets of America, and here in england, were fighting for offical status,you seem to have a far stronger stance than we do here in the U.K.more power to you. Here in the British army, medals are hard won,it took 60 years to acknowledge the men who served on the artic convoys,so as for medals for cold war vets, don't hold your breath.
